For Sale By Owner

We have some dear friends that are trying to sell one of the houses that they own. They both owned homes when they got married and they are still trying to sell one. Would you please join us in prayer to find the right buyer for this perfect starter house in Springfield Mo? If you know someone in the market please pass this info on. Or if you know somebody that knows somebody looking for house, well pass it on to them as too!!
Check out their blog for more details http://barronshouse.blogspot.com/

Thank you for your prayers and help. I know they will appreciate it more than you know!

Trying new things

Cooper has been exploring new things lately. Such as...

Feeding himself yogurt. I got Cooper and Trip these stick like learning utensils.

As you can see he's not the neatest eater. But hey it was his first try and boy oh boy did he like it!

We weren't the most responsible parents but we let Cooper explore the steps up to the back yard. He thought he was something big.

See, I can do it!

He seems to think he's too big for Mama to break up his banana. He wanted the whole thing. So every morning we have to have a CHUNK not pieces.
What's next that my baby boy will do on his own?

Our "pantry" is a book shelf for now and he was able to reach the corn meal. He thought it was just as fun as sand. He's not the first to dump the corn meal. Coby did it first a while back only on the couch. You think I'd learn. It's an easy clean up with a little patience and a vacuum.
Sneaky little thing!

It's so fun to see what new things he tries to do from day to day. Yesterday we were working on animal sounds. "Cooper, what does a PIG say? Oink Oink." (insert Mama oinking like a pig.) And he replies with something that sounds like Ho Ho Hooo! But hey at least he tried!

SOOO BIG!

Little Cooper Dillion was just sittin and chillin eating his Grandpa's pie. He put in his thumb and pulled out a plum and said, "Oh what a good boy am I!"

If you look back to Trip and Cooper's Trees you'll remember that Grandpa, Granny and Great Grandpa planted trees for Cooper and Trip so we could watch them grow with the boys. Well it was time to pick some plums.

Mmmm! The plum was really good actually.

He shared a bite with everyone. The plum was just as sweet and ripe as a plum you would get at the market. I was pleasantly surprised.

Rosie was so excited for harvest time and wanted to pose for a picture too. Coop likes to pull her ears. What a good doggie.

Look how tall our trees are Trip! In November we'll get our pictures taken with the trees!

Granny likes to teach what things are. LEAVES.

SO BIG!

Well, Trip we're taking good care of our trees! Can't wait to see how BIG you are!

PS. Plum seeds come out the next day. HEHE that's for you Grandpa!

1st Trip To The Zoo

Narissa and I took the boys for their first trip to the zoo.

We started with a picnic at the park. We had a guest that the boys weren't fans of. It wasn't shy either and apparently it wanted to share our lunch.

First stop- the Monkeys

Flamingos (for Gram)

Elephants

Tigers

We tried to get them to get their picture taken by the tiger statue but as you can see Coop was afraid of it.

The giraffes got a little up close and personal.

As you can see Coop didn't like them either.

Hippo

We had a great day!!
Let's see what the next adventure will be.

Sweet Summer

We spent out 4th of July in St. Augustine FL.
Cooper and I went down a few days earlier then Gary met us there. Aunt Margie was able to get us a Condo at BlueGreen Resort in the World Golf Village. We had a WONDERFUL time! Thank you Aunt Margie!
Here are a "few" (I use that term loosely) pictures to highlight our trip.

The condo had a fantastic pool. Cooper liked it as well. It was warm and welcoming.

Cooper wasn't a fan of the fireworks.  But they put on a good show.

We had some really HOT days so we had to be careful when we went to the beach and then we had cloudy days but we were able to make it a few times. As you can see Coop liked the beach part not so much the ocean part. (Could be because he Daddy let a wave hit him right off the bat...I'm just sayin)

The pool sloped down so he was able to crawl around and stand at the edge.

FINALLY got to have Uncle Randy's shrimp!!! YUM-O!!!

Cooper has decided he really likes to open and close doors. Whether playing alone or with someone holding him he loves it. Gram and Cooper were having a wonderful time playing with the closet door so I decided to hide inside and take a picture. Boy oh Boy did he SQUEAL!!

Here's another shot of him being able to play as he pleased. His little knees got sore by the end of the week with all the concrete crawling.

A few more pics...
First jigglers, playing with Uncle Art, discovering the puppies with Great Gram, pretty smiles with Aunt Janie and Natasha.

Like I said we had a WONDERFUL time! Thank you Gram and PawPaw for letting us stay with you! We love you very much!

Having Fun

Cooper absolutely LOVES it when the refrigerator door is open! He puts it in high gear and squeals all the way there and acts so silly when standing there. So I had to get a shot for you to see.

We went to Coby's birthday party last weekend. They had a slip and slide, sprinkler, water guns, and water balloons. So needless to say your chances of staying dry were slim.
Cooper enjoyed the slip and slide because it had a strip down the middle that shot little streams of water up so he sat and played there after the big kids got done. He always loves to kick and splash with his feet.

Coby brought over a truck and played with Coop for a while.

Josie also played with him. She showed him how to splash! He was slipping and sliding all over the place on it!
Happy Birthday Coby!!

Cooper's 1st Birthday!

Happy 1st Birthday Cooper!

We had a sand box theme party because we got Coop a turtle sandbox. We haven't added sand to it yet but he likes to crawl in and out of it and play with the little beach balls we had at the party.

Here he is opening some of his gifts and cards. Mac and Coby wanted to help him and play with his toys. Luckily he doesn't mind to share yet. He happily let them play with his toys.

He dug into his cake. He quietly ate it until we had to cut him off.
His hat was a gift as well from my friend Emily. Isn't it cute??

Some of his little friends were able to make the party since we rescheduled it due to a bug he had the Saturday before.

Pucker up Atley! Bre was trying to get him to kiss her.

Coby came and was very entertained by Gram and Great Gram that we skyped in to the party so they could join the festivities.

Mac wasn't ready to hand over the present. He played with it as soon as we took it out of the bag. He needs to come show Coop what to do with it. Coop likes to slam the lids down but isn't into making them pop up yet. Mac will be a good teacher of the new tricks!

Parker was able to make it as well! He was also amazed by the "talking computer".
He's always entertaining to have at gatherings with his silly personality. Cooper and Parker are big fans of each other. They will have so much fun being cousins. I think Parker is ready for Coop to play with him more. I'm sure they have plenty of fun days ahead!
