4 Months

Cooper is now 4 months old. He's learning more and more everyday. He's really trying to figure out what in the world his hands do. He got his 4 month shots yesterday and isn't feeling the best today, poor little guy. At least I get a lot of cuddle time!
He's full of smiles. He's still talking a lot in the mornings, so much sometimes that we don't get done eating until it's time to walk out the door. He seems to be the happiest on his changing table. He'll talk forever and flap his arms and legs like he's going somewhere.
He's rolled over to his stomach on the couch several times but gets stuck there.

Can't decide if we are going to smile or cry.

He really likes to play in only his diaper, that's when he moves the most.

This is my favorite picture right now. He's grown to love his bath. He'll even splash every once in a while.

2 and 3 months

Cooper is 3 months old today. Time is flying by so quickly. He's doing well. He weighs right at 12 pounds. Needless to say he's a chuncker already. We see changes daily. We're still working on holding our head up but he's doing well at it. He is a very happy baby. In the mornings when I wake him up he always smiles after he gets his stretches out. Then while eating he has to stop and talk to me making it even harder to leave for work. He takes forever to finish eating because he talks and laughs and kicks and squirms so much but I love it. What better way to start my day than to have a good laugh and see such big smiles with my little man. God has a sense of humor giving me a morning baby. The good thing is he sleeps through the night and typically I'm waking him up to eat so I'm more awake when he's ready to chat.

This is last months bear shot. He wasn't very happy with us. I thought it was cute. Notice the double chin getting bigger! That's my little snuggle bug :) gobbler and all!

Due Dates

So last Wednesday the 15th was my due date and tomorrow is my sister-in-laws. Cooper was already here for my due date for a month and theirs will be here very soon!
Kirk and Aimee, my bro and his little wifey are expecting their bundle of joy any day now. Cooper will have a cousin very close to his age. Originally Aimee and I had due dates a week apart. Gary, Cooper and I are so excited to meet their little guy. We are praying for a safe and fast delivery for them.
Aimee, Kirk is a big guy so take it all out on him, he can take it! :) We can't wait to meet him. Tell him Uncle Gary, Aunt Tammi and Coop love him. Oh we love you too!

Here are a few new pics of Coop.

He's my little monkey. I love to cuddle him.
His little cheeks are getting bigger. He's around 8 lbs!

One of our few awake times of the day. We're still working on the whole days and nights thing.

One Month Old Today

Today Cooper is 1 month old! Time is flying by already. Let's see today we have had breakfast lunch and a snack, and a few naps. How do we find time to fit it all in :)

I love this onsie. Gary got it while I was still on bed rest while my mom was here. We couldn't believe that he'd be big enough to fit in them yet they were so tiny and now he's almost too big to wear them. He weighs 6lbs 8 oz and is 19.5 inches long. He's getting so big already

.
I promised my Mom and Courtney that I'd take his picture by a bear to see how much he grows. Courtney do you do remember this bear? He snuck to PV on your move!

Baby Cooper your Mommy and Daddy love you. You've already been such a blessing. We are loving watching you grow and getting all the snuggle time we can get! You are amazing.

Welcome Cooper Dillion Hamilton

Cooper Dillion Hamilton arrived June 9th at 4:55 pm, weighed 4 lbs 15 oz and 18.5 inches.
After several weeks of bed rest at the Ronald McDonald House we were able to meet our sweet little man 5 weeks early.
Here's the short story. On May 14th I went in for my ultrasound and found out that I had very low amniotic fluid so they admitted me to the hospital for 6 days then we moved to the RMH where we stayed until we met our little guy. He had to stay in the NICU for 13 days, we got to bring him home on Father's Day. Gary said it was the best Father's Day present he could have ever asked for.

Thank you for ALL the prayers that were sent up for us while we were waiting for him. We love you all.

Here's a few pictures before we met him and after.

Love at first sight

Our First Family Photo

Stay tuned... hopefully now that we're home I can keep up on posts.
Enjoy!!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to ALL the mothers in my life.
From my Mom to the MANY MANY women in my life that are moms I appreciate everything you have done and do.
I'm excited to experience Mother's Day as mom. This year I was able to rejoice for the life that will soon be here and it excites me to no end. This makes me think of all the women in my life and the many ways they've touched my life, the women that are moms and the women that are yearning to be and the ones that haven't yet made it to that point in their lives.
If you are not a mom yet I pray that the Lord will bless it upon you if it's His will. Like the Lord blessed the women in the Bible with children after years of prayer and petition. I pray that He will give you the patience to wait upon Him. This can be challenging I know but when we wait upon the Lord His glory prevails. Take this time to begin praying for the child that you will have and try to see through the hard times and lessons that He is teaching you. Some days may be harder but He will get you through those too, look for the bright spots and what you are learning and how you can encourage others in your life. God puts us through these trials to build our testimonies, and to have yet another thing to raise up to Him and praise Him through the storms.
My mom taught me that no matter what our parenting skills are prayer is the only thing that really works. She's told me many times that she may have made a lot of mistakes raising my brother and I but the one thing that she did right was pray for us. Thank you Mama for the prayers that we needed and even for the ones that we didn't think that we wanted!
Here's to all of you moms. Thank you for all you've done and for the ways that you've touched our lives.
