Got You Where I Want You

Got you where I want you means:

While at Nana's we discovered a wagon in her garage.
Cooper enjoyed riding in it for a short while and then...

He wanted to drive...

He wanted to push...
(He stopped and picked up some rocks to haul.)
That's a look of determination and hard work.

Grandpa to ride too...
(It got hard on the ol' back trying to walk and let him push too and make sure he didn't fall on his face so this was a nice change actually.)

Grandpa to ride while Mama pulls...
(This was quite the workout)

Just wanted to walk ALL by himself!! FINALLY!!!!
(He just started doing that last week right before we left for Florida)
He's SO big!

Look at that smile! He was a happy boy playing with the wagon and just playing outside in general. He wasn't a happy camper when we made him come inside ever. Only for meals was he ok with it.
He called the playing outside shots.

Hanging out with Great Nana while I got ready to go. We headed to The Shrimp Basket for lunch and he ate several shrimp! He's had quite the variety of foods this week. He even likes seaweed salad. Who knew!?

If you know Cooper you know that if you're eating and he's not he will be soon enough. He sat in everyone's lap for breakfast that morning. I believe he ate more of Nana's bagel than she did. She had to get up and make more to share with him.  What a mooch!
He's a cute mooch though don't you think?
The funny thing about him right now is if he wants something he says Hmmm with a ? at the end. SO funny! Hmm? with a finger point to the door means, I want to go outside. He does it for a drink, points at the door knob, food and so on. Still working on our English words, but he's got his own sign language down that's for sure.

Just Another Day At The Beach.

We are in Gulf Breeze Fl. visiting my Nana.

We took Cooper to the beach.

Enjoy the pictures...

Stomping to make him happy. He loved it.

Dad dug a shallow hole and he stayed busy digging in it. It was so funny. Dad says he can remember his dad doing the same thing to keep him busy.

He stuck his face in the sand.

Caught a crab.

Maxed and relaxed.

Smile for Granny.

Our little walker. He wants to walk EVERYWHERE!

We went to the pier and watched the fishermen. We saw schools of fish and several jelly fish.

Futbal!!

We took Cooper to his first Football game. Our friend Garrett,(it's so sad to call him our friend, he used to be one of my little people. He and his sister Tori are part of our family. We've been baby sitting them since they were 6 weeks old and now they are a Freshman and a 7th grader. They made me feel old!!)
Garrett is on the freshman football team.

Smile for the camera! Tori sat behind us and entertained Cooper. He played with silly bands and ate the soft part of her popcorn.

Garrett is number 81.
GO GARRETT!!!!!!!

We saved the box from Coop's new car seat and his likes to play in it. Daddy got in with him. I was funny to see him get out of it.

I just thought this one was silly. He was getting silly in there.

Up To NO Good!

Narissa and I were making dinner to take to Kelby and Martha's for our finding out what their tadpole was going to be.  We turned around and this is what we found...

We have a book shelf right now that has baking goods and odds and ends on it. Well, the time has come to remove all items from the lower shelves that the kiddos can open. Boy oh Boy did we get a good laugh!!

Mac has oatmeal in his spoon. He did this on his own! I about died of laughter! We let them play in it for a little bit until it covered the entire kitchen floor.

Here's a little video of them playing in it.

Have a great day!
And remember oatmeal messes are easy to clean up, have you made a mess today?

It's About Time!

Cooper and I took a little trip to see my Brother Kirk, his wife Aimee and their son Trip in Lakeview Oregon. After a VERY long journey we made it there. It wasn't the best traveling day ever but we survived.
On our 3.5 hour drive from Reno to Lakeview we passed a sign that I thought said welcome to California. I was confused but it was late and I didn't say anything. Then I saw something else that said California. I then asked because even though I typically loose all sense of direction or where I am geographically once I've gotten somewhere I really did wonder why we were in California. They said we'll be in CA more on this drive than any other state. Ok so I sat back and went along for the ride and sipped my slurpie from 7 eleven. We finally made it to their cute house in Lakeview.
We had to take this picture on the way back to Reno.

We went to the fair a few times while we were there because I was about a block away from their house. There were a lot of animals to show the boys. We liked the chickens because they were easy for the boys to see.

It's so fun to hear Cooper try to say the animals names. He does pretty well with chicken. You at least know that is what he's saying. He still thinks that all animals say ho ho hooo. It started being what a pig said but rarely do we get other sounds from him.

This is the water table that we sent Trip for his birthday. We had a warm day to play in it. They had a good time.

Here's a little clip of them playing in the water table.

They got the boys cowboy hats for the Roundup/Fair. Trip did way better at the photo shoots we tried. We always seemed to catch Cooper at a really sleepy time. You'll see how tired he was in a little bit. But here are a few shots...

We went to Lakeview's Labor Day Parade.

Trip got to hang out during the parade and one of his trips to the fair. Isn't he cute?!

Coop got to suck on a blue sucker for a few seconds to distract him being so tired and that he was sick of being in the stroller just sitting. He didn't get to eat much of it. Only enough to make a blue slobbering mess and get a blue mouth.

HERE Are some more pictures of the boys getting into trouble.

This is Cooper extremely tired at dinner and Uncle Kirk rubbing his head. It was hard to get a great shot because we laughed every time his eyes closed and head drooped.

Thank you Uncle Kirk, Aunt Aimee and Trip for having us! We had a WONDERFUL time!!!

Sorry for having to click on all the links. I'm having technical difficulties. Thanks for your patience.
Thanks Aunt Aimee for your blog posts to link to!!
