9 Months

Weighing in at 19.5 lbs Cooper is growing leaps and bounds. No shots were needed at the 9 month check up thank goodness!

HONK! Even the polar bear gets his nose pinched by Cooper. He has quite the grip too!

We didn't get the "ham" pictures that we usually get. He was tired, just had a bath and was ready for his bottle so no smiles for these pictures, he starred at us no matter what we did to make him laugh. He knows what we're doing and  likes to play the stare down game.

After taking his bath he wore his blue robe that his Great Aunt Janie sent him. His Uncle Kirk had one just like it when he was a baby so Cooper and Trip both got one when she found out they were both boys.

Having an organic wheat teething cookie. He had it ALL over his face, shirt, tray and probably some in his hair but he enjoyed it!

He's changing daily and we're enjoying every second.

Adventures in Puerto Vallarta

We were able to make it down to PV to meet our newest addition to the family- Callie. She is such a sweet baby! We had a wonderful time with them.
We were able to get to the beach a few times for a few photo shoots.
(click on the collages to see the pictures larger)

Cooper wasn't a fan of the cold water but he was content with playing in the sand.

Limes= funny faces

Cooper and Callie headed to church

We were witnesses for Callie to get her birth certificate. It was quite the process for the Goings, but we got it done and our names are on her birth certificate. She's SO official!

Our last day at the beach Cooper loved the sand. He could have grabbed a handful of sand and watched it pour out of his hand all day.

Enjoying the sunset and a walk with Daddy.

"Just hangin with Callie"

The girls with the babies.

We had a wonderful time with the Goings. Thank you for your hospitality. We are so proud of you!

On the way home Cooper got to entertain the people behind him. He played with people all over the plane. If they walked by he waited for them to look at him. He did so well traveling, we were so proud of him!
We are ready for our next trip to PV!
Callie we are so glad we got to meet you and get all the wonderful snuggles in!

Busy Busy Busy

We've had a busy last couple of weeks. First we'd like to introduce our newest niece Callie Leila Goings. She was born on the 8th. We are so excited to meet her. We will be flying to MX on Friday to meet this sweet baby girl. We love you Callie!!

My Mom, Jerry and Grandmama came to visit. Cooper was kept busy all week with his Gram, Great Gram and Pawpaw. While they were here Cooper turned 8 months old. His facial expressions are funnier everyday. He's on the verge of learning how to crawl. He inch worms backward. He'll get it soon. He loves to stand up so we might skip the crawling and start running!

He likes the computer. We put it in front of him to see if he'd go to it. He reaches for everything.

He looks like a big kid!

Eating a pickle while watching the super bowl.

He got some time to read with Gram.
He got a new book from Parents as Teachers, The Gingerbread Man.

Gram and Great Gram filled the freezer with yummy homemade baby food. First try of blueberries and pears that they made. He was a happy customer!

Love you Gram!

Cooper and Mac had their first bath together.

He started pooching both lips out. Usually it's just the bottom lip but he started doing both. He can make you laugh no matter what when this happens.

                              4 Generations

We got him a sippy cup for Valentine's Day. He's trying to figure it out. He loves drinking out of a cup when you tip it for him so it's time to learn on his own.

First Valentine's. Uncle Kirk, Aunt Aimee and Trip sent this bib. Cooper and I had dinner together on Valentine's while Daddy was working his truck.

Let's Play In The Snow!

We suited up and went outside for a little play time.

We took Cooper out in the snow for the first time. It was chilly so he didn't stay out long, he sat in the car with the heat on and music playing.
His snow suit reminds me of Raulphie from A Christmas Story. He's so stiff when wears it, it's so funny. Little Michlin Man.

Happy Birthday Gary & 7 months for Cooper

We had a pretty relaxing day. We went to lunch and finished the day with football games.

Gary and Cooper having cake! (Cooper didn't like it- yes I let him taste a tiny bit)
Happy Birthday Gary! I love you!

I wanted to make a round cake for Gary. So I headed to Target to get some pans. When I turned them out I remembered that my oven is tilted so the cake was a little lop sided. But he enjoyed it.

Cooper shared his 7 month birthday with daddy!! He's getting SO big. Every day is a new discovery. I didn't think I was going to get the bear picture because he was laughing and playing with the bear. It's almost an action shot.

We are working on the sitting up. We can't sit him down and walk away, he'll be on his face in no time. But he's doing good!

He's definitely my baby, he liked the pickle. He usually makes funny faces when trying something new but he kept opening his mouth for more. I let him chew on it for a little bit. I think he liked the cold more than anything but it was dill so he got flavor that's for sure. Let's hope his belly likes it too!

He splashed more in his bath tonight than he has ever. I think he ran a mile in it. Not much water was left. He's sporting the hawk! He kind of looks like a cupie doll.

We've been hearing a cat outside in the frigid cold so Gary decided he needed something to eat. He had warm milk and chicken left over from homemade cashew chicken. This is as far as he would come in. We named him Morris. I think he eats at other houses too. Maybe he'll keep the mice out of my car, if so he can stay!!

Cooper's first Christmas

Merry Christmas!
Cooper's first Christmas was eventful. He loved looking at the lights on the tree and out the window at the snow blowing around. We all had our Christmas pj's on that we got for the last day of the advent calendar.

Coop and Gary opened his stocking. He got a camo bass pro sippy cup, and...

Peace Love and Rock n Roll onesie...

and another onesie, and sleeper.

He got a star stacker that sings and lights up when the stars are put back on the peg.

Granny V got him a Bible.

Lots of fun is yet to come with this activity table!
We went to Mamau and Papaw's for lunch and to Grandpa and Granny's for dinner. We had an exciting day!!
Merry Christmas everyone!
